English version This dream begins as a nightmare. I am in a house and a cougar is running at me. Suddenly I realize I am dreaming. So I turn back and I grab the cougar. I stare at him and I ask : «Who are you ?» But instead of answering me he becomes flabby like a stuffed animal and his fur looks like the wool of a sheep. I am disappointed because he didnt answer me.
Knowing I am dreaming, I think I should be able to fly. But instead of jumping up from the ground as usual, I have to jump from a height, and leap in the empty space. Out of this house there is a footbridge over a forest. It is very high. I am frightened to jump, it is too high. A cat walks on the footbridge, which falls apart. Finally only a cable remains and the cat walks on the cable, not nervous at all. But eventually he falls. I think : If this is reality, the cat must be dead. I run down : the cat is all right. So I am dreaming !
But Im still afraid to jump. Im looking for a place not too high where I could jump. Finally I am in the backyard of the house where I lived when I was a child. There are trees, and a ladder on one of those trees. It is not too high. I climb the ladder, close my eyes and jump. I dont fly but I dont hurt myself, something absorbs the shock of my fall. I consider it as a victory and I try to convince other people to jump from the ladder. Finaly a boy decides to try, but he falls to the ground. It didnt work. I feel quite bad.
Commentaires/Comments
English version
In a social view, the jump could represent the jump in the next millenium, the fears related to that jump. Those fears refrain me to experiment a real flight, and the flight represent the liberty, the liberation.
